Please let me introduce myself, my name is Andrew Bates and I am the owner / operator of Doors and Doorways Mandurah, I am a qualified carpenter and joiner with over thirty five years experience in the building industry.
I have operated a very successful door installation business in the northern suburbs for the past 25 years known as "Joondalup Doors"
We have now been in Halls head for seven years now and have built our five star rating business on honesty and recommendations.
My main focus in Mandurah is re configuring tired and outdated entrance doors and provide a secure and updated new look for your home,
Double Doors
INTERNAL SLIDING DOUBLE DOORS
These lovely clients had a large theatre room that they wanted closed off with double sliding doors, the opening was too wide for standard doors so the walls were extended on both sides to centralise the door opening.
Doors and Doorways insulated the stud walls and bulkhead, then flushed them into the existing plaster walls seamlessly along with the cornice work.
Gail and Graham wanted a business that could undertake the work from start to finish without the hassel of sourcing different trades such as Carpenter, Ceiling fixer, Platerer, and Painter, on close inspection Gail and Graham said they could not see where their plaster finished and the wall extention started.

INTERNAL SWINGING DOUBLE DOORS
In some cases, privacy is less of a concern than letting in the light, as shown in these photo.
Doors and Doorways are able to install solid wood or wood / glass combination doors to achieve the desired mix of light and privacy.
All materials are supplied, fitted and painted or glazed. In some cases we construct internal walls to achieve the desired door size for the partitioned room.
Internal double doors are typically used to create a spare bedroom, study, office or to simply partition away an area of the house for guests.
Heating and cooling are also a real benefit.
EXTERNAL DOUBLE DOORS
Typically for front or entrance doors, we regularly custom design, manufacture, supply and install external double doors that are able to provide security and withstand the Australian climate.
We are able to install external door frames to fit new double doors or retrofit new double doors into your existing door frame.
In addition to solid construction, weather resistance, our door installation service guarantees excellent sound proofing as we use aquamat sealed - nilon spline seamed into the timber to achieve an industrial strength seal.
